With all of Matt's pieces, he finishes the underside as well as the top side. One day after looking under his table he reflected on how nice the underside was and thought it would be good to be able to flip it over and double the lifespan.

Utilising brass connectors you simply undo 6 bolts and can flip the table top over revealing the new surface.
